Private Boat Rentals in Puerto Vallarta: Two Perfect Days on the Water with Jet’s Private Boat Tours

If you’re in Puerto Vallarta and even thinking about doing a private boat day, I have to share this because we’ve done Jet’s Private Boat Tours twice now and both trips were honestly flawless.

And both times we had the same tour guide: Gallo. Professional, super knowledgeable, and genuinely fun to be around. He’s the kind of guide who makes the whole day feel easy, safe, and elevated without it ever feeling “touristy.”

Quick note before I keep going: this is Jet’s Private Boat Tours (private charters). Not to be confused with the other similarly named “naked boat tour.” Different thing. Just clearing that up. 😂

Trip 1 was more of an adventure day with our daughter and her best friend. We did snorkeling and hit different locations, and it was such a great mix of exploring and relaxing. The water was beautiful, the stops were well chosen, and it felt like a curated “best of Vallarta on the water” kind of day.

Trip 2 was a totally different vibe and just as good: we went with 10 friends on a larger boat and it turned into what I’d call a calm party. Not wild. Just cool, upbeat, chill music, sun, laughs, and that effortless “this is the life” feeling. We opted in for the food and let me tell you, it was amazing and absolutely worth it.

The crew was also next level attentive. Everyone had what they needed, when they needed it, without having to wave someone down or ask twice. Drinks, snacks, helping people in and out of the water, checking in on the group, all of it. They were on it, but still relaxed and friendly.

Both experiences were 10 out of 10 and I’d recommend Jet’s Private Boat Tours without hesitation. If you can request Gallo, do it. You’ll be in good hands.
